Attorney Marisol Perez was born in Cuba. She immigrated to the United States with her parents when she was a young adult.
Marisol studied at Miami Dade College and Florida International University where she completed a bachelor's degree in Political Science. She graduated from Thomas M Cooley Law School in 2016 and was admitted to practice law in Florida in 2017.
Marisol also completed an LL.M in Homeland and National Security, and she was admitted to practice in the United States Bankruptcy Court and United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She is a member of the Florida Bar and American Immigration Lawyers Association.
Marisol worked as a dependency attorney with the Department of Children and Families/DCF and as a prosecutor with the State Attorney's Office in the Twentieth Judicial Circuit. She has also advocated for her clients with removal orders.
